New layout coming soon…

Spend two hours last night making a start on the new layout. Normally I would draw it out on Photoshop then code it, but this time I decided I not to. I draw a frame on paper and then just got down to coding it right away. I want this layout to be as simple as possible, so no big header images or loads of images.

I always find a problem with using three colours. I always end up using two colours (shades of those two colours) for everything! From background to link to images to anything! This time I’ve picked three colours, hopefully I’ll be able to use all three well enough.

I can’t wait to finish this layout and get it up and running. I’ve had this current one for almost a year now and getting really really bored of it.

It’s become an unconscious habit of mine to have a semi-colorful header, and then to draw the colors for my links and texts and headings from there. I look forward to seeing how the three colors work out.

I find it difficult to get a good colour combination sometimes. I often have about a dozen colour so I use nearly all of them. :P

Hope to see the new layout soon! I love the pink and green on this one though. :) Twitter: amourchaleur

    Hi Krystal!

I always never know which colours to use for my layout so most of them are colourful. Hehe, but sometimes I flick through magazines or find something that inspires me and I put the colours together and test them out.
I am terrible at coding! I always need a template, I always ajust to my liking but never have I coded a layout from scratch. I just can’t get it all in my head.
I am looking forward to seeing your layout. I know it’s terrific as I really like this layout :D
Yes, it’s true, mostly teachers always say “WELCOME BACK” with an enthusiastic voice and then they go on about what we are learning for the year and blah blah.
