Youtube Dance Tutorials

K-pop fans should have heard of the song “Tell Me” by Wonder Girls. It’s a pretty famous (and extremely catchy) Korean song. As well as the catchyness of this song, the dance is pretty awesome too.

A while ago I was surfing YouTube and came across some dance tutorials for the Tell Me dance. I found this really good tutorial:

I’ve wanted to learn the dance to this song for sometime (just for fun). I tried it out few nights ago and surprisingly it wasn’t too difficult. I’ve learnt the first 30-40secs of the routine but can’t dance it to the music yet as it’s still too fast for me.

For those interested in learning the dance, I would recommend the following method. Imagine each bit as a pose and you’re just moving from one pose to another. Pause the video at each pose and learn it individually, then slowly put them together. This dance isn’t too hard because pretty much each beat is a pose, so you just need to remember each one in the right order.

SNSD is also extremely famous for their amazing dance routines. I found a few tutorials for their songs and definitely going to learn it. I’ll probably never show anyone or video myself, but it’s just for personal experience.

Can you believe that I’m learning a dance routine from YouTube. Seriously YouTube has anything else days from make up tutorials to arts & craft tutorials to dance tutorials. There’s probably cooking tutorials too.
