			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My gym has finally got a Power Plate machine! Their machines are mainly consist of a vibrating base. You stand or sit in certain positions on the plate or perform particular movements to work that part of the body. Its so <strong>quick</strong> and <strong>easy</strong> but tiring. You basically just stand or sit!</p>

<p>Apparently, 10 min on the power plate is 60 mins of other exercise. If that&#8217;s true then wow!</p>
<p>Since there&#8217;s this amazing machine now, I&#8217;m going to the gym everyday after work. All I have to do is go there and stand or do some minor movements for 5-10 mins, easy right?</p>
<p>I lose the motivation to exercise since I came back from Hong Kong. Before Hong Kong I was pretty thin, now I&#8217;m fat again. Hopefully this quick and easy machine will keep me going to the gym. Well I actually hope it works.</p>
<p>Now that I work full time I sit for many hours a day, everyday. I think I&#8217;m starting to get strain injuries on my back and shoulders&#8230;or maybe I&#8217;m just being paranoid. I really need to do exercise to avoid all these problems. </p>
<p>I have to admit, I&#8217;m not very active. My day to day life is just work and home. I don&#8217;t do much at home other than sit at the computer. Hopefully that will all change once I get my own place (still living at parents), at least I&#8217;ll have to do housework. There won&#8217;t be much as the place will be super small but better than nothing right?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I got back to England last Sunday afternoon. The flight back from Hong Kong was very sad for me because I really loved Hong Kong. The place felt right for me, made me feel like home. I guess I am Chinese after all so will feel more like home where my roots are.</p>
<p>Either way, I had an awesome time in Hong Kong. A holiday without parents is just absolutely amazing. <strong>FREEDOM!</strong></p>
<p>I have visited Hong Kong before but only for short periods. We normally spend most of our time in mainland China (that&#8217;s where most of my family are currently situated). I have always favour Hong Kong over mainland China.</p>
<p>As this was my first long visit to Hong Kong, I went to all the popular Hong Kong tourist attractions.</p>
<p>Off course I also did a lot of what every Chinese girl would do when they visit Hong Kong, <strong>SHOPPING!</strong> Normally I would buy cute things like pens and stationary, but this time I bought a lot of skin care products.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s a photo of my 238 sheets of Beauty Diary face mask. I un-boxed most of them but kept four of the boxes because they&#8217;re pretty and special edition versions too.</p>

<p>I went a bit crazy on skin care products! It all came to 10kg.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll now be doing the full 6 Korean/Japanese skin care steps everyday (cleanser, toner/refiner, emulsion, essence, cream &amp; eye cream).</p>
<p>I&#8217;m going to post some other photos up later this week or next week.</p>
<p>This holiday has made a big impact to my life. I&#8217;m about to make a big step into the next stage of my life (not marriage, I&#8217;m too young for that). It is all still under planning, so I&#8217;ll let you know what it is closer to the time. I&#8217;m super excited about it though.</p>

They don&#8217;t hurt apart for when I eat because the wisdom tooth is pressing the food against the gum facing it. Finding it pretty hard to eat properly at the moment.</p>
<p>I have been going to the gym regularly for sometime now (about 2-3 30min sessions a week) and it&#8217;s made such a big change to my body shape. My waist is a bit smaller and my tummy isn&#8217;t as obvious anymore. I still have a bit of a belly but it&#8217;s getting there. I&#8217;m going back on a low-carb diet as well to give it a bit of a boost before Hong Kong. I&#8217;m also drinking loads of green tea to detox my body. Apparently green tea can help with losing weight, though I&#8217;m not really sure how true that is.</p>
<p>Anyways onto some new necklaces&#8230;.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Losing weight, toning &#038; body shaping is just hard and requires much commitment. I want to tone up and be skinnier for the summer but it&#8217;s pretty difficult. I&#8217;m not fat but I have a bit of a belly and I really want to get rid of it. </p>
<p>I go to the gym weekly however only once or twice, for 30-45mins each time. Basically it doesn&#8217;t really do anything. I need to go at least 3 times and do at least 30-45mins of cardio excerise each time. 30mins doesn&#8217;t sound long at all but it is when you&#8217;re on the treadmill. Although I listen to music, it can still be boring, after I&#8217;m just staring at the wall/mirror in front. I really don&#8217;t know how people can keep going for 30-45mins without dying from boredom. I get bored easily and need entertainment of some sort.</p>
<p>I went 3 times this week, each time for at least 45mins. I usually do about 30mins cardio but I have to change machines once or twice else I get so bored. Not sure if that&#8217;s the same as constants 30mins. Each time I change I break for 1-2 mins while I get myself to that machine and set it up.</p>
<p>I bought some dumbbells so I can tone up at home as well especially on the days I&#8217;m not at the gym. </p>
<p>The gym is super packed in the evenings (I generally go after work) and it really smells of sweat in there. I love it when it&#8217;s pretty empty because I don&#8217;t feel like people are watching me and it isn&#8217;t all smelly in there. Also I don&#8217;t have to wait for machines. Waiting can be so annoying because I just want to hurry up and finish my routine and go home!</p>
<p>Why can&#8217;t I just be skinny with no belly. Clearly I&#8217;m not a patient person and like to see result straight away which doesn&#8217;t happen when trying to lose weight!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve never really been happy with my body figure (though most girls aren&#8217;t). Like most girls I hope to be thinner, flat stomach and toned looking. </p>
<p>I am pretty slim but I do have a stomach (a pretty big one too) and pretty fat thighs. For years and years I&#8217;ve wanted a flat stomach and thinner thighs but never done anything about it. I tried dieting but I usually give up or they don&#8217;t really work for me.</p>
<p>After sometime I learnt from a friend who&#8217;s sort of a body builder that the only way to get a flat stomach is to exercise regularly. Off course eating healthy is also extremely important. He taught me that by toning up, I will appear thinner than someone of the same weight but isn&#8217;t toned. My mum regularly attends an aerobics class and her teacher told her the same thing.</p>
<p>I learnt that information a while ago but was way too lazy to attend the gym often. Recently I&#8217;ve decided to attend the gym regularly (at least 3 times a week). I also started doing more weights then usual. After 2 weeks I&#8217;ve already noticed a small difference. My weight is about the same but my legs do look thinner. </p>
<p>I also learnt that muscles will burn more calories therefore it is important to have a lot of muscles so you will burn fat faster. Doing weights (or using the tone machines at the gym) will help you to build muscles. </p>
<p>Hopefully I&#8217;ll be able to keep this up for more than a month and off course I hope to archive the body figure that I want.</p>
<p>I should also start measuring my body parts! I think that I look thinner but I haven&#8217;t measured anything so I don&#8217;t really know if it has really improved or my brain is just lying to me.</p>
