Dressing up game

If you read my previous post you’ll know that I recently started playing Aion Online again. I’m totally loving the game at the moment.

I’m very particular when it comes to MMORPGs. I like games that’s fantasy, fairy tale like themed with beautiful sceneries and clothing design. Aion just fit right into that requirement.

I love it when games have amazing sceneries because it’s so pleasant to look out. It’s also nice because it feel like you’re in a fairy tale with magical creatures all around (monsters in the case of MMORPGs). Don’t you think it’s nice to look at something that’s out of the ordinary very now and then?

Aion has this awesome armour re-skinning feature. We can re-skin our armour to look like any armour of the same type or of the generic clothing type. I spent two hours re-skinning my armour after discovering this feature. I then spent another couple of hours searching the auction for other nice looking pieces.

I actually find dressing my character up far more appareling then leveling and becoming strong, I guess that is the nature of a female. I want to level in this game so I can farm for the super pretty armours at high level. This game really knows how to catch the attention of the female market. All they had to do was add a dressing up feature.

There’s another set of super nice white, angel & heaven like armours coming out month. Take a look at the image on the right. That is the new armour for the class I’m playing. It’s dark yet angel like. Sort of reminds me of angelic gothic art. It must be the use of the white and black navy colours.

I have always admired game artist. They draw and come up with the designs of the game including the costumes for the characters. It’s amazing how they can come up with such beautiful and unique styles in this competitive gaming world.

The costumes this game has are very detailed. The patterns all over the costume that isn’t always completely visible from far but it gives it that little bit of a pop.
