Birthday & Overtime

I have to do overtime at work for three days. Working 9am – 9pm these few days to get a project finish. At least I’m not alone, I’ll be with 4 other people as well. It all depends how much we get done these three evenings but there may be a chance that it’ll carry on to next week. I’m going to be so tired after the three intensive days. At least I have a 4 day weekend coming up as there’s a public holiday on Friday and Monday.

This reminds me of my university days when we would work 12hrs a day for a few days to get assignment finish. Those days were fun actually. I remember we would meet at the computer rooms with food and just work away. We bought loads of snacks and drinks as well. We weren’t allowed to eat or drink in the computer rooms but we were the only ones in there.

*yawn*

Oh ya, it was my birthday over the weekend. I went out with my boyfriend to eat udon and Japanese skewers.

The udon part as a late lunch. That udon place is really popular, there’s always people queuing outside as you can see in the picture above.

I had a soup noodle.

My boyfriend had a cold noodle with hot soup.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t take any photos of the skewers we had later that evening because the place was dark and we only had our phones on us.
