My Lucky Year

It’s the year of the Dragon this year, which means it’s my lucky year (I’m born in the year of the Dragon). Dragon is by far the coolest zodiac animal. It’s the largest and most powerful looking, however it’s a shame they don’t exist (anymore). I spent Chinese New Year weekend with my family and my boyfriend’s family (one day at each). We ate loads of yummy food.
Despite the weekend been full of yummy food, I also spent it most of it burying my nose in tissue. It’s the time of the year for colds and coughs. I blame my boyfriend for passing it to me! Well at least I don’t have a cough or sore throat.

Happy Chinese New Year!
That’s awesome that you’re a dragon – I think I’m a ram or goat or sheep. I don’t mind though, it’s still special! I wish my family celebrated CNY more, but we don’t really. When I went to Indonesia one year, my relatives were sort of getting into the celebrations but not that much. I’m a bit jealous that you got to celebrate it!
I hope you feel better soon! <333 I'm sure you appreciate your boyfriend's company even if he's ill.

Happy Chinese New Year! I’m year of the Rabbit. Not nearly as cool as the Dragon but fits me well anyway! We don’t celebrate, but it’s always fun for me to see what year it is.

Happy Chinese New Year! :3 I didn’t know that you were a dragon. xD I do wish you all the luck this year !
It’s a good thing you had fun (if you count the tissue out xD). I do hope you’ll feel better soon <3

Yay for Chinese New Year (and it being your lucky year). I also had a ton of delicious food, and I feel like I gained five pounds in the past few days alone, haha! Hopefully you feel better soon – this is a horrible time of the year to get sick

I heard from my Chinese professor that the year of the dragon is a good year, the best year–or something like that. I’m year of the horse, still several years until it’s my turn!
Happy Chinese New Year!!

Woo, Chinese New Year, year of the awesome dragon!
I am a rooster, a water rooster to be exact which I find SO fitting because I am also an Aquarius! I am very, uh, watery.
Maybe that explains my “go with the flow” attitude.
Should I consider myself lucky that I almost never get sick? Like on my own? xD If I get sick, then it’s from someone else, hahah.
