Stuck in traffic

I have spent around 10hrs a week in traffic for the last two months. I travel to and from work on one of the busiest road in my area. It’s not so bad normally but they closed off one of the lanes for 2 months (on both side of the road). Although they only closed off one mile of road but that caused loads of traffic further back.

A few times, it took me 1hr and 30mins to get to work when it normally only takes 30-40mins. The journey back isn’t so bad even though there’s some closure.

They were working on something. They dug some massive hole all the way along the closed area. No idea what they were doing. Whatever they’re doing better be worth it.

I don’t mind traffic so much when I’m not a driver because I can just nap. As the driver, you have to stay awake! Traffic is just annoying because it’s boring and a big waste of petrol.

There’s still rush hour traffic everyday but it isn’t as bad.

Traffic is just so annoying. I’m not a driver yet but I’m an impatient person by nature so I’m really not looking forward to that when I start. D:
Haha, where I live we get the most random traffic jams. They start mysteriously and last about half an hour. After a while it clears and lo and behold, no accident. No police. No anything. It happens constantly :P
Is that your photo? It’s gorgeous :) I wish I could do photography like that so bad!

That does’t sound very fun. I don’t have a car so I just ride my bike or take the bus. Not as fast as travelling by car but I can get anywhere in the city in less than an hour.

i hate when there’s traffic too. I use to ride 30 minutes before my first class (30 minutes drive from my house to my school, well, that’s an exact time.), then there’ll be traffics, uuurgh!

How are you able to spend that much time driving in traffic every day? That is so many hours gone that I would rather use to do something else, like blog! =P When I get out of school, I want to be like my boyfriend and walk a mile to work every day.

Let’s hope that the construction is worth it. It probably is – I’d rather they repair something and cause me inconveniences than have that something break and cause more havoc later.
