Easy, simple and yum
Last weekend my boyfriend and I had another very successful cooking session. We made pesto and cheese stuffed chicken with bacon wrap, and couscous.
The chicken breast was so simple to make. We stuffed the middle with pesto and cheese then wrapped it with some thin bacon stripes. We then baked it for around 20mins. It was super juicy.
The couscous was so easy. Took me about 10-15mins to make. I cooked diced onions and red peppers till it’s soft. Then lightly fried the left over chicken and bacon. Pour some chicken stock into the pan of cooked veggie and meat, then added the couscous. I left it to shimmer till the couscous has soaked in all the chicken stock. That took around 10mins.
It was seriously the quickest and yummiest meal ever!
I shall leave you all with a mouth watering photo (okay maybe not quiet mouth watering, but it was super yummy).

We also made lychee and strawberry layered jelly. The lychee jelly was absolutely delicious.

Oh man! I want that chicken wrapped in bacon! Mmmmm….

Oh my! I love the Cordon Bleu (aka chicken wrappen in bacon). I never had it stuffed with pesto though. Maybe I should give it a try. And the couscous looks amazing too. Good thing I just ate otherwise my stomach wouldn’t be happy
What is you favorite dish to cook?
