Is it really mid Autumn?
I haven’t blogged for a while as I’ve been pretty busy lately. My giveaway has come to an end. I will announce the winner next week so watch out for that email
The turn out of the giveaway was amazing (around 25+ people entered), best turn out I ever had in any giveaway. I think it’s Rafflecopter making life easier for everyone. I will definitely do another giveaway but that won’t be for a while

I started this entry with a photo of a necklace from my store (or rather will be in my store soon). Many of you may remember the Aurora inspiration necklaces from last year. They were a popular hit and will be back soon. I love the colours of these crystals, they’re just so beautiful.
The photo is of a large (18mm) Swarovski heart with sterling silver chain. The cost of this will be $20 for 16″ chain and $21 for 18″ chain. Let me know if you’re interested
Anyway onto my offline life.
It was the Chinese mid autumn festival last Money. It’s a popular festival in the Chinese culture. It’s also a public holiday in China & Hong Kong. I’m not going to go into details about it but you can read all about it here. I’m not sure why it’s called mid Autumn festival when the event is at the beginning of Autumn. I know it follows the luna calendar but it’s a bit strange.
One of the most popular activity of the mid autumn festival is eating mooncakes. It’s traditional to give mooncakes as a gift to friends and family on this game. Below is a picture of a traditional mooncake. They are super sweet!

What you ever tried mooncakes before?

First off all, I’m interested in the 18” Swarovski heart with sterling silver chain <3 its really beautiful!
I didn't knew that so many people joined the giveaway :p though I bet it was lots of fun to do one ^_^ Im thinking about it to do a giveaway as well (after a blog challenge ). Though I don't know what I'm going to give away xD
I've heard about the Chinese mid festival before but didn't know so much about it. But I've admit that the mooncakes look yummie :3 want to try it out xD!

And yes – I’m a big fan of mooncakes! I love the tau sa mooncake (red bean). We just had recently celebrated the moon cake festival in my church. It was marvelous.
