Natural & Historical Hong Kong (Part 1)
As promised, there are more photos from my Hong Kong holiday. This time it’s the historial and natural part of Hong Kong.
These photos are all from some popular attractions in Hong Kong. The attractions were situated at the top of a mountain. The attractions include a old style street with shops and restaurants, a large flight of stairs with a Big Buddha at the top and a traditional temple.

The Big Buddha is a very large statue at the top of a mountain in Hong Kong. It has a mini museum inside displaying historical objects like painting. There is a large flight of steps up to it.

This was an awesome view, clouds floating above a mountain.

Another photo of clouds floating over a mountain.

An ancient Chinese building in the heart of several mountains.

A photo of incense outside a temple. People use these when they pray to the gods.

Myself and my boyfriend praying inside a temple (we weren’t really, we were just pretending).

Golden status inside the temple.

A monk cleaning the floor inside the temple.

I really like your photos from Hong Kong! I have been there once and I really loved it myself! I like the photo of you and your boyfriend ‘praying’ the most! I would never be brave enough to do that!
Was it your first visit to Hong Kong? How long did you go for? Did you go to Ocean Park or Disney Land? Did you do lots of shopping?

Wooow, I’m so jealous! I’m Cantonese myself but I’ve never travelled back to China/HK before. My first time will be next summer, and your photos have made me super excited, hehe. The mountains look exceptionally pretty

Ahhhh that looks amazing! No matter how much I love the modern the traditional is just as fascinating to me. It’s probably because I live somewhere that’s stuck right in the middle! Though I’m not a Buddhist I’d love to visit a temple. I’ve seen so much in my friends’ travel pictures.
I now know what you mean. I didn’t really get to see much of Korea, just my relatives. I still think it’s better than sitting here in my room though.

WOW, those are amazing. I always loved Chineese culture, but those places are amazing. I want to go there. I love historical and cultural places. It’s always good to find out more about a country:D.
I joined scouts really late, in 9th grade and I wasn’t very active, but it’s good to be part of them and participate at their actions. Anyway, my mom doesn’t approve the camping with them and I never went in a camp. I hope I will when I’m 18:D.
You should do the tag. It’s fun:D.

I just randomly stumbled upon your site, its so cute! :3
Those are some stunning pictures of a stunning city/country! I really want to visit Hong Kong!
I always get confused though.. Is it a country or a city? Its in China, but it has a different government? Is that correct? Hahah, I’m so vague in these subjects!
Hope you had a great time, I’m gonna poke around the site now haha xx

It’s a city really. It use to belong to Great Britain, but GB returned it back to China around 10 years ago. They will run under their own government until a later date.

I’ve always wanted to go to Hong Kong. The landscape and scenery, the people and their culture – it’s just so beautiful and different. I especially love the temples and the Big Buddha. And the mountains. I’m a sucker for nature.
These are beautiful pictures! I hope you had a brilliant time
