Almost time

My eye is much better! It stopped watering and I think the spot or whatever it was is gone! My mum said I shouldn’t wear my contact lenses for a while though so back to wearing my glasses for a week. I don’t mind glasses but I have a problem with them. The nose bridge in between my eyes are flat, seriously FLAT. Asians do generally have flatter nose bridge but not as flat as mine. My glasses always have a problem sitting on my nose properly. It always slides down and I have to keep moving it back up. Glasses are just annoying to me!

7 days till I fly to Hong Kong *jumps up and down with excitement* I’m about to experience my first ever holiday abroad without parents or any “adult” even! There will adults involved when I visit China because I’ll be staying with family. That’ll only be for a weekend so I can cope with that.

I got another wisdom tooth growing and it super hurts! Please please be ok by next week so I can have a pain free holiday!

Short entry today. Super busy sorting and planning the holiday.

Have a great weekend everyone ^^

Ooh! Wisdom teeth are terrible. What’s really the point of them? :P Lucky for me I had them taken out because they said my mouth didn’t have room for them to grow in; plus they were lying down in position when they showed the x-ray.

I too had some problems with my eye earlier this year due to contact lenses. I had to stop wearing them for a while which sucked ’cause I do dancing, and I cannot dance with glasses ’cause it just falls off :P .
Anywhoo glad your eye is better now!

Ooh, you’re going to HK! That sounds like loads of fun, even I’m getting excited for you! Hahaha. When I went to the Philippines last year, I wanted to go to HK to visit one of my friends (we met at uni here in Florida, and she was an international student) but wasn’t able to. :[ So I’m going to live vicariously through your account of your holiday. XD

Sorry to hear about your wisdom tooth woes–they’re really horrible. >_< When mine first started growing back in the 12th grade, I remember taking Aleve and it helped A LOT with the pain and the swelling. New ones started growing either late last year/early this year, and I did the same thing, lol. Although it still reminded me of the pain, ugh.

I know what you mean about glasses! I prefer contact lens because I dont have to deal with glasses that dont fit my asian nose =u=”"

I’m excited for you! D: I want to go too! I hope you have a lot of fun and enjoy your time with your family in china!

I just read about your eye from your previous post. I forgot what it’s called (a sty? or something like that) but it sounds like you had one. I think it’s like a pimple under or on top of your eye. Sometimes I have one and my monolid goes all funky.

Oh lawd, the typical nose that most of my Asian friends have. I don’t wear glasses but when I need to wear the safety ones for science experiments, it slides down and strangles my nostrils LOL. It’s very uncomfortable, if you ask me.

You know those glass things that are put on glasses so it helps stay on your nose? You might want to try them (though I have and they didn’t work). On the internet, I’ve seen people having these glass things pierced on either side of their nose and it holds the lens up. I doubt that’s an option for you, though :P

I’ve heard bad things about wisdom teeth being removed. I’m scared for mine. And I heard that the drugs they give you make you act funny.

I’ve never been to Hong Kong (or anywhere else outside of Australia without adults). Hope you enjoy :)

Ahh I still remember you’re going to Hong Kong! I hope you have a good time and have started packing. :D

I’m glad your eye is all better. My mum appears to have conjunctivitis again, I’ve never had it but any eye problems are usually very uncomfortable.

That sucks about your glasses. :( Asians tend to have flatter noses overall. I think that with anyone who wears glasses, they have top push them up every now and then anyway. :P

I hope your wisdom tooth doesn’t give you hell. :( I have mine growing out but I had my molars pulled out a couple of years ago because my orthodontist could tell that there wouldn’t be enough room for the wisdom teeth to grow.

I don’t know what was wrong with your eyes but glad to know you’re feeling much better now! I don’t wear glasses (real glasses anyway), but I do have glasses with fake frames and I will occasionally wear sunglasses. Sometimes they’ll slide off my noise but it really isn’t that big of a problem; it’s doable for me anyways. I actually wish I could wear normal glasses. My face feels so bare without them.

That’s awesome that you’re going to Hong Kong! I hope you have fun with your family.

For some odd reason, I haven’t had my wisdom teeth come in or get pulled out; does it not happen to everyone or does it happen later in life? I’m scared for when it does happen… I’ve heard some pretty painful experiences.

Glad that you’re feeling better before going to Hong Kong! Not feeling well on vacation is terrible! I hope that you’ll be able to wear your contacts soon! I personally push my glasses back up on my face once every 5-10 minutes. I wonder if there are glasses made just for Asians…

May your wisdom tooth be better soon!
