Very busy bee

Busy busy busy.

I went to my boyfriend’s sister’s Hen day/night last Saturday. In the morning we went to a very posh high class spa/health club. It was really well decorated and definitely really high class. We bought her a full body massage and pedicure to pamper her for her big day. My favourite part of this was the steam room. My skin felt so smooth and soft afterwards.

In the evenings we went for dinner at a bar, then move onto a club area. I didn’t get too drunk because I wanted to be sure I can get back to the hotel okay and also to ensure the bride-to-be got back safety as well. The bride-to-be got pretty drunk!

The boys had their stag on the same night else where. Unfortunately the groom-to-be didn’t get as drunk.

We went for a massive lunch (dim sum) the next day. We shared 32-34 dim sum dishes between 8 of us. We were pretty full by the end of it!

I’m going to be so busy the next few weeks. I have a wedding to attend this Sunday, it’s boyfriend’s birthday at the beginning of May and then Hong Kong at the end of May. I also have a few small things to do in between those events including shopping for holiday clothes!

Luckily there’s a few bank holidays (public holidays for Americans) coming up in the next few weeks. I’m going to have having 4 days weekends two weeks in a row. I really can’t wait. I really do need small breaks to refresh myself and catch up on sleep.

Dim sum = yummy! I likes! But I don’t think that I could eat that many. Guess it depends on how big the dishes are.

Sounds like you had an awesome time! And it looks like you’re slowly progressing on your April goals. And you should totally get more sleep.

I never quite understood why guys have a stag night, or the other way around. Well, I understand, but culture always shows the guy hiring a stripper or something, and I don’t believe many females hire a buff man to entertain them. I think I’m just weird – but I feel like there’s something ‘wrong’ with having all that going on not long before you’re due to get married. Nothing against all the drinking and partying though, just the other stuff I mentioned. :P

I don’t think I’ll have a hen night, I am not even interested in drinking and I don’t have many girlfriends at all. Well, I suppose that could change in the future, I never know.

I hope you have a good weekend, despite how busy you are. :) I remember you were looking forward to that trip a few months ago, good to know you’re still feeling it. :D I hope it goes ahead okay!

    PS. I can’t believe I’ve commented 85 times… WHY. XD
