My PC was ill for a few days
Last week I came home after work and my PC won’t boot up. Only the fan turned on and it didn’t actually boot. Luckily I still have insurance on it (I extended it last summer) which has on site support meaning I don’t need to send my PC off. They send someone on Friday to fix it. The guy on the phone told me that they’re not sure which part is broken so they’re going to try and error. If they can’t fix it that way then they’ll have to take it to the manufactures and get it checked out there.
The guy replaced the graphic card and it booted up. I was so lucky because I don’t want them to take my PC as it will take about 7-10 working days to get it back to me.
I thought I wasn’t going to be take to cope with my PC but I managed. It was weekday after all so I was at work most of the time & I had my iPhone so I could still check Facebook and log on MSN. It was broken over the weekend then I’ll be really screwed. I definitely won’t be able to cope a whole weekend with no PC.
I’ll be releasing another set of necklaces this week. I took the photos yesterday so I’ll be working out the prices these next few days.
That blows. I’m glad you had the insurance or you would have had to shell out for a new one. Have a good week

Ahhh problems with the computer. We all know what that’s like. :/ Sorry to hear that, but at least it’s all fixed now. Well wait, you said that it’s kind of iffy now..?
Can’t wait to see your new set of necklaces! Maybe it’ll be inspiring for me to see some new ones & see what exactly my mom would like.

Whenever my PC won’t turn on or goes funny I immediately panic at the thought of living without it. DX Safe to say, I use it a lot… for both work and leisure (though I have little work at the moment seeing as I’m off school, just a few summer projects). I’m glad it’s okay now though.

Yeah, the weather has been pretty crappy these last few days… sunny but really windy so you have no idea what to wear.
To be fair it was first started to be very hot in May, so it’s not really a surprise autumn is so early.

that’s so lucky they were able to fix it. I had to mail in my laptop once and it took 18 days. T.T so awful!

computer troubles are one of the most frustrating things in my book. i remember when my internet was down for awhile, and i had to stay on customer service for soo long trying to figure out what was wrong and then attempting to repair it. it’s sad, but i can feel hopelessly lost without the daily grind of computer/internet work sometimes! so it’s great that you were able to get your computer fixed relatively quickly and painlessly.

That’s lucky you got to fix it! XD I can’t live without the computer – I would have cried if I couldn’t get my computer fixed in time ESP weekends.

I stumbled across your blog a while back but never had an opportunity to comment. I love your layout it’s simplistic but very pretty.
PC problems suck. I always feel like crying whenever my computer won’t work with me. It’s highly distressing. I’m glad you had your insurance. My family generally pretty cheap about the whole insurance thing. Broken PC on a weekend would not be fun. I’m glad it was during the weekday for you.
Oooh~! i love your jewelry. They’re all very pretty. I plan on buying a few stuff once I get more money. I’m currently saving to buy myself a laptop for when I go off to college next year. I look forward to seeing the new pieces.

Except that I have to cope, going to our summer cottage this weekend and, well, there’s no internet there. So basically no reason to take my laptop with me

Pheww! Glad the guy could fix it on the spot and he didn’t have to take your laptop away for repairs. If it was me, I wouldn’t know what to do without my laptop. :/ I hate it when my laptop goes buggy because it always at least two weeks to fix it.
