Abandon
I feel like I’ve abandon the blogging internet world for a while because I have returned many comments, haven’t blogged in a while or been on twitter! I haven’t checked twitter for almost a week now. Well I have an excuse for abandoning this for a while, I’ve been busy playing Battles of Immortals, I know so geeky. It’s way to addicted and I just can’t stop playing it.
I’m going to be a bit more free time now because there’s going to be some changes at work. Currently I work 9am – 5.30pm which isn’t so bad. However my actual travel + work hours are 7.30am – 6.45pm. In the morning I get to work before 8.30am and I don’t really have a choice because that’s the only train that I can take what will get me to work before 9am. I don’t get home for over an hour because the train doesn’t leave till 5.48pm so I have to sit around and wait in the office for 10-15mins. So I end up sitting around for about 45mins a day, just waiting for the work day to start and end, kinda annoying really.
My work place is going to be implementing flexi time meaning we can start anytime between 8.30am – 9.30am and end 5pm – 6.00pm (we must work at least 8hrs 30mins though). This is perfect for me since I get to work before 8.30 anyways so I can start straight away and go home earlier (5pm) 
Another cool change is that we is that every Friday is half day!! So I will be finish at 1pm on Fridays. Yay for 4 1/2 day a week instead of 5 and get paid full time.
You’re probably wondering why the hell they decided to do that, well it’s because many people have left in the last 6 months (over 30% and there’s only 50-55 employees) and most of them are senior roles. That isn’t good for the company at all. It obviously means there’s something wrong. They are doing this as a desperate measure to keep people here. Hopefully meaning that they will actually deal with the problems. All these extra benefit will keep employees happy for a while but eventually the problems will overwhelm them if not dealt with.
I have no problems with my work place (my first job, so I don’t really know any different and I’ve only been here for 9 month). I’m going to be loving these extra hours. I’m so excited about half day Friday, more time to play BOI (geeeky)!
Your getting to work early reminds me a lot of how I used to always have to get to school about an hour early because of my mom’s work schedule. D: At least now you’ll have the opportunity to start work early! I hope the new schedule works out better for you.
I wonder if more people will start early so they can end early, or if they will start late so they can sleep later. I’d rather start early and have more free time! As would you, obviously. xD
Uh-oh… getting addicted to MMOs is never a good thing, haha. Have you ever heard of Mabinogi? I used to play that allll the time. But when I went to Israel for a month and wasn’t allowed to bring my laptop, my interest dwindled. It’s actually kind of sad.

I’ve been away from the online world for some time but that’s because it’s been hard at home and stuff has been going on. I’m sure you’re enjoying gaming though!
I know how you feel about travelling to work.
For me, uni is pretty much the same deal. I’m staying there bumming around for some time before and after class, but that doesn’t bother me too much. When I went to work in the summer in Australia I didn’t like the buses because they came every 30 minutes, and they took a long time from home to work and back. 
It was hectic.
It’s nice that your hours have changed though, gotta love flexible hours.
I still have my first job and have been there just over 2 years.
I do like it, I’m glad that in the early days I didn’t just quit because I started hating it.

Well, that sounds pretty awesome. I wish I worked a 9-5 job where every friday was a half day, lol. I don’t actually know what kind of work you do though.

I’ve been off the internet for a few days as well. My teaching attachment workload is increasing day by day and is already taking up my sleeping hours. I have to stay up late at night for a couple of days each week to prepare for my teaching.
Oh that’s cool of the company to have those flexi hours. I wish we have something like that too here.
It’s unfortunate that a lot of the staff is leaving but hopefully with this new policy, it’ll be able to keep those who remain happy.
Hahaha! I too thought Hiccup would be an incredibly absurd name to give to a human. XD

As far as being Geeky games v_v I got hooked onto Perfect World myself and I actually really love those War/Role-Play computer games
they’re super addicting!
I feel your pain when you tend to drift away from the blogging world… I somtimes feel so overwhelmed because I have to catch up to so many things! But keep your chin up

I remember having to take the bus for my first job. It did waste A LOT of time waking up early, walking to the station, long bus ride…
I am always amazed at people who regularly take the bus to work simply because they don’t have car or wants to be more environmentally friendly and save gas.
I admire you for your dedication in taking the train for the sake of job and money! There is a saying that hardships are awarded later in life…assuming that you stay good in your path.

Yayy for half days! Don’t abandon the blog, I know you feel like you have, but you can’t help it if you have other things to do.
Also, I’ll definitely e-mail you about the designs. I want to get one for my mom as well. Her birthday is in october. She actually doesn’t like her birth stone & prefers mine (emerald) or sapphire. So we’ll talk!!

Yeah that’s true, I actually remember watching a series where a doctor said to a suffering girl that at least once in their lives, people will bother someone and be selfish. It’s true.
I guess since you play RPGs you have met people online through there, so if you were to disappear online I guess they would notice that. I think most of the people who would notice my disappearance would be bloggers and web designers because my website is visited by so many people.
Also because I go online every day, I guess that’s why several people noticed I was gone, and it was unusual for me to be gone that long. I do “have a life” but it usually involves me being on the internet for quite some time.
