A slow week
It’s only Thursday and feel like Friday already. Sometimes the week just goes too slow, especially when there isn’t much to do. There hasn’t been much to do at work lately so the 8hr just goes by really slow. I could surf the internet, read some blog etc but doing that for almost 8hrs is just boring.
“Times goes by fast when you’re having fun” is commonly known saying. It is too true. The time goes by too fast when I’m at home because there’s so much I want to do. I only have about 3hrs to do my own stuff each evening. Wish it was a little bit more balanced.
Do you have moments where you feel that time is just moving way too slow or way too fast?
I’m thinking of writing a PHP application when I have time. I don’t have any good ideas what sort of application to write. Any suggestion on a web application that I can write? Anything that you want to integrate with your website? I was thinking of a link tracker (to track your external links to see people are clicking on your link exchanges, affiliates etc) or Q&A application that can be integrated with WordPress easily (could even be a WP plugin).

The time flies so fast when you want it to slow down, but when you want it to go faster, every second feels like forever. I’m feeling that way at this very moment actually. You know I’m currently doing my teaching attachment which I don’t really feel like doing. I have 3 more weeks to go but it feels like I’ve been doing this forever. *sigh*
I never thought anybody would offer to write a Q&A plugin for WordPress. Glad you mentioned it. I’m currently using Jemjabella’s BellaBuzz Q&A. It’s a great script, but I wish I could convert it to a WordPress plugin. So far I have not been successful (I guess writing a plugin is harder than I thought). So I would really love it if you decide to write a Q&A plugin for WordPress.

I think this whole year just disappeared somewhere seriously.. it is kind of weird, seems like I will make up and be 50 tomorrow.
I think the tracker is nice? I don’t know
actually I had a good idea a while ago, but I forgot.. I will tell you if I remember, I can’t code that stuff anyway

Time does fly by rather quickly. It seems just like yesterday it was January and now it’s July. The year is half over with already.
But just like Kitty said, when you want time to hurry up, it seems like it;s going slower and when you want it to slow down, it goes by fast.

Gah I hate that. =/ It seems like time always passes quickly when you want it to last forever, and slowly when you want it to pass quickly.
Of course I have those moments; I think we all do. I really dislike them. Dx Right now, I can’t believe it’s already July! It seems like just yesterday I was celebrating the New Year, and now we’re already halfway to 2011. O.o The second half of the year usually seems to pass more slowly though (probably because school starts… and I don’t like when it starts getting cold
), so there’s still a lot left of 2010. Phew. xD
I really like the idea of the link tracker! I’ve actually always wanted something like that.
And on a random note, I LOVE your layout Krystal! It’s so refreshing and unique. :3

I have days like that all the time, but time always feels like it’s moving too quickly and too slowly for me. Both, at the same time, all the time. I think it’s driving me crazy, lol.

Yes. Definatly. I think, the slowest moment by far are those you spend waiting for something you don’t want, i.e. when you get in trouble. It’s like time suddenly decided to conspire against you and slow the Earth down, while you’re begging to get over and done with that moment/day.

Time sure does fly when you’re enjoying yourself. I’m not quite sure where the past year went, and it’s already July of the next year. And I just got used to writing 2010!
I like the link tracker idea, I’d definitely use that
