The Brush Guard
I got my “The Brush Guard” Variety pack today. That’s pretty fast delivery because I only paid for that last Friday, which means it arrived in 3 working days. Wish my other USA deliveries can that that fast as well. Usually it takes about 7 workings day for post to be delivered to the UK from the USA.
These brush guards helps to protect your brushes when you’re cleaning & storing them.You can use this for any type of art brushes as well as make up brushes.
I disliked cleaning my make up brushes because I found it hard to dry them properly without them going out of shape. It’s important to dry your brushes upside down so water isn’t slipping into the handle and damaging the inside of the brush. With these guards, you can place them inside a cup or jug so that that you can dry them upside down. So here’s me drying some of my make up brushes with the new guards.
I need to order more because I have many many make up brushes. I’m too lazy to clean them all often so I always just clean them in one go.
I learnt how to clean my make up brushes from Michelle Phan’s video “Squeaky Clean Brushes!“. So check it out if you guys want to learn more about this. I really recommend this method to clean your art brushes.
I’d probably prefer 24 inch, nice and long haha.

Wooow those brush guards look really fancy. My mum usually just puts all her brushes into a clean mug.
I’m not really into makeup so I don’t care. Hahha. I don’t even remember how my mum cleans mine. Shows how interested I am in makeup lol.
I love fast deliveries! I bought from thinkgeek.com and their delivery took just 3 days or so as well. :O Now if only the shipping was cheaper… lol.

It takes a while for things to be delivered to Australia too. Some times two weeks.
I have a bunch of make up brushes, which I barely use. I like to use disposable sponges. And I’m not really sure how to wash them. I tried once, but it took for ever to dry.
I have a bunch of paint brushes which have all dried up because I don’t wash them..
Yeah I am starting a contest. If you can write, then join.

That’s a pretty good tip, but I’m just one of those lazy people who would rather just go out and buy new brushes every time they get dirty and stuff. The brush gaurds look pretty simplistic. Like you know? Mesh or that other kind of material. How much was it?

I’ve never ordered anything from the USA, but that is very quick! ^^
The guards sound useful and look cool. I don’t use make-up brushes or even paintbrushes that much… let alone clean them. D: I wash my hairbrush every now and then though.
My mum does the same thing as you, minus the guards.

Mainly the taste; though sometimes the textures comes into it.
I love yoghurt! It’s nice to eat and as you say, nice and healthy. :3 I also have fruit smoothies but for some weird reason I don’t like fruit juice…!
Cereal bars are good ^^ I haven’t tried a great load of them, but I’ll get around to it.

GAH i use the michelle phan’s way of cleaning brushes too
its so good, compared to using shampoo haha. and buying expensive brush cleaner.
i think im gunna buy a pack of those brush guards soon !

I wish I could buy make up related stuff again, i can’t anymore because my parents have totally banned me from make up (LONG STORY)
